Ain't no mysto to the man

Just back from a quick two day coast trip. Surf was tiny tiny, but it was good to get out there anyway. About a month ago a friend of mine turned me on to a great little pulloff to bed down for the night. It sits a couple hundred feet above the surf and has a fire pit. A primo spot for an econo coast run. I camped there the other night and all was fine until a Clatsop County sheriff came honking in the morning. He was pleasant enough and told me that I was on private property. I apologized and agreed to be on my way. In ten minutes I was packed and on the road. Lesson learned: get up with the sunlight, pack up camp and paddle out before the man's morning rounds. Later on at PC, I paddled out the new log for the first time. What a classic ride! Ooooh, that '66 glide. It's going to be a good summer in the water. Lifeswells tonite at Valentines. See you there.
